At the Alchemia Group we are helping our clients think & act differently in regards to their wealth and its impact on thier family - because we know it is more than just numbers and plans, it's the Balance of Art & Science with Pragmatism and Vision.
Great photographs are based on seeing something extraordinary in the common place. This can only happen when we take time to develop an awareness and appreciation for the world that is right in front of us. Using a magnifying glass is a fun way to do this, especially when you do it with your family! To begin, pick up a common object, like a dollar bill. Look closely with your magnifying class at the face, the building and all the detail. Now write down six things you see that you didn’t realize were there or hadn’t appreciated before. Share with the other family members. Next, look around the room where you are sitting. Write down six things you now ’see’ that you hadn’t before. These can be as simple as the braid on the blinds cord or the way the shadows made by your pencil cup look.
If you take a couple of minutes to ‘look’ every day, when you get into your car, as you walk to the front door, sit at traffic light, etc. you will begin to really see how rich and robust your daily world really is. Then apply the same to the people you know and meet. Try to see things about them you never noticed before. The results will amaze you!
